The Fun of Volunteering at SFI

Many friendships are made among fellow naturalists engaged in work parties at SFI. Just a few hours with a paint brush, weed wacker or shovel can make a huge difference on our grounds. We are always in need of weeders, trail clearers, blackberry routers, carpenters and fence first-aid specialists. Our spring and fall fundraisers are also a great opportunity to pitch in and have fun.

Receive a free course tuition by training as an SFI host! All that’s required is an hour-long training session at SFI before the season begins. Email programcoord@thesfi.org for details.

Let us know how you’d like to help by emailing institute@thesfi.org.
