Gain a familiarity with the diversity of amphibians and reptiles in the Klamath-Siskiyou bioregion. An online presentation and discussion period will cover evolutionarily unique species in the region, as well as the need for broad strategies to conserve these organisms and their habitats. Then spend Saturday getting hands-on instruction in the field, exploring river, pond, and terrestrial sites for a myriad of resident amphibian and reptile species.

Field day is moderately difficult (1-3 miles of hiking and/or climbs of up to 500 ft).

Ages 12+ welcome.
