View the Klamath Mountains in a special (virtual) aerial tour of the region. Learn the story behind the incredible diversity of rocks found in the Klamath Mountains. From ancient islands with coral reefs off the coast of North America to granitic magma rising from below, we’ll explore the various “exotic terranes” and rocks making up this complex geologic province.
Optional field trip: Rainie Falls Trail on the Lower Rogue River, Galice, Oregon, to view the metavolcanic Rogue Formation
