Become a Volunteer Host and take classes for free!

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Volunteer Host Program! Through this program, volunteers will be trained how to host our field classes held in various nature hot spots throughout southern Oregon and northern California and in return, get to take those classes free of charge. We are currently soliciting volunteers for this program. You can apply by filling out our short application at the link below. We gladly accept applications at all times, however priority for the current spring/summer season classes will be given to applications received by May 7, 2021.

2021 Field Courses

Our new course brochure is now available!

New for 2021, we’ve redesigned our old course catalog into a streamlined, seasonal brochure. Inside our current edition you’ll find an easy-to-use reference for all classes scheduled April through June. You can sign up to receive our course brochure by email by Joining our Mailing List (the option for direct mailers is coming soon!)

Siskiyou Field Institute (SFI)
Public Notice, on April 16, 2021:  The Siskiyou Field Institute’s Board of Directors is proposing an amendment to our original 2004 Articles of Incorporation to eliminate “voting members.”  Objections to this proposal may be submitted to Acting Secretary, Julie Norman (julie@juliekaynorman.com) within the next 30 days.
